FREE Children's film and games morning - THIS EVENT IS NO LONGER TAKING PLACE 

Bingo -  Friday 28th November 2014.   -  Proceeds to the Mayor of Telscombe's charity fund.

CHRISTMAS FAYRE - Saturday 29th November at Telscombe Civic Centre, 2-5pm.  Adult entrance 50p & children free.  There will be music, refreshments, stalls, gift ideas, Father Christmas, lots of fun activities for children and much more.   Proceeds to the Deans Senior Tea Club

The Deans Senior Tea Club - at Telscombe Civic Centre every Tuesday from 10.30am - 12.30 pm.                  

Christmas Day coffee morning at the Civic Centre from 10am to midday.  If you don't have anywhere to go at Christmas come along and join us for tea/coffee, cake and a chat ALL FOR FREE.          

Weekly exercise classes at the Telscombe Civic Centre.             Monthly support and residents groups.

TELSCOMBE TYE NOTICE - Please be aware that sheep will be returning to the Tye to graze at the end of November.  If you see them, PLEASE KEEP DOGS ON A LEAD.  Thank You

The Council endeavour to ensure Telscombe Tye continues to be a safe and relaxing environment for its residents and visitors to enjoy and the following activities pose an unacceptable risk to public safety/are not permitted:-   Hang Gliding, Para Gliding and Kite Boarding; Metal Detecting; Dog Fouling.   Offences will be prosecuted:- Driving Motor Vehicles (Section 34 Road Traffic Act 1988);  Offence of Livestock Worrying; Firearms, Shotguns and Air Weapons (Section 19 or 20 (2) Firearms Act 1968).

Community Bus

New Community BusTelscombe Town Council and 3 other local Councils fund a community bus.     The service runs between 7.30am and 5.30 pm Monday to Friday and will take you door to door to and from anywhere within the Peacehaven, Telscombe and East Saltdean, Newhaven and Seaford area, including Telscombe Village.   The minibus is wheelchair accessible and can accommodate folding buggies.   First you need to register which is free. To check elegibility please phone CTLA on 01273 517332,  Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm.   Costs vary depending on where you travel to.  Accompanied children under 12 years of age are free.  The national bus pass cannot be accepted on this service.  Booking in advance necessary.
