Members of the public can now view all planning applications via the Lewes District Council Website at www.lewes.gov.uk.  Once on their homepage look on the right-hand side under the heading 'popular pages' and click on 'planning public access'. You will then have to click on 'accept' to agree to the terms and conditions and you are taken into the public access section.  To view a current planning application click on 'planning' on the list on the left-hand side and then click on application search and enter the application number if you know it, or click on property search and type in the property address if you know it.  All the relevant details will then be displayed, including plans and photographs.  There is also the facility to comment directly to Lewes District Council on a current planning application. 

Now that Lewes District Council have made this facility available, there will no longer be a Planning Officer visiting the Telscombe Civic Centre.
