The newly revamped Telscombe Town Council website has now been running for a year and has proved highly popular. We worked hard behind the scenes with Aztech Systems of Peacehaven in development of the new Community Website which was designed not only for the Council and the services we offer to you, but for you as a Community as well to interact with and enjoy. The site has many built in features and a new layout and design that we hope you have found to be an improvement from the last site.
For those internet and computer buffs out there who want to know a little bit more about the website; the Telscombe Town Council (TTC) site has been designed and developed in the popular and award winning Open Source Joomla; by Aztech Systems of Peacehaven. Our old site was not compatible with the new WC3 web standards.
The site is now totally enabled to sustain our growth over the many coming years and has a whole host of features installed to take advantage of. Some of those new features include:-
- A new downloads section where all Council Minutes and Agendas are available for download
- A new Planning Applications section that is more streamlined to convey up to date applications
- A new section that displays your Councillors with contact forms and details
- A new section for the Civic Centre and the facilities available
- News sections for both the Town Council and the community
- A new 'What's On' section
- Dedicated polls for you to interact with
