ENFORCEMENT NOTICE - SECTION 172

PROPOSED VARIATION OF AN ENFORCEMENT NOTICE RELATING TO THE UNAUTHORISED BUNDING ON TELSCOMBE TYE

I give notice that East Sussex County Council is proposing to exercise its powers under Section 173A of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended) and vary the Enforcement Notice served on Telscombe Town Council on 9th June 2006 in relation to the bunding constructed on Telscombe Tye without the benefit of planning permission.  The varied Enforcement Notice will seek the removal of the majority of the unauthorised bunding but will allow the retention of some segments.

Members of the public can view the plans showing the effect of the proposed variation (illustrating which bunding will be removed and which bunding it is proposed will remain) during normal office hours, at the offices of Telscombe Town Council, Telscombe Civic Centre, 360 South Coast Road, Telscombe Cliffs, East Sussex, BN10 7ES and at the offices of the Director, Transport and Environment Department, East Sussex County Council, County Hall, St Anne's Crescent, Lewes until the 28th August 2009.  The plans can also be viewed via the Council's website: www.eastsussex.gov.uk/environment/planning/applications.

Anyone who wishes to make representations about the proposed variation of the Enforcement Notice should do so in writing to the Director, Transport and Environment Department, East Sussex County Council, County Hall, St Anne's Crescent, Lewes, BN7 1UE by the 28th August 2009, quoting reference number WNF/LW/04/0063 (SLI).
