Anti-social Behaviour patrols this weekend

From aggressive, noisy or abusive behaviour to neighbourhood disturbances involving drugs or animals, anti-social behaviour takes many forms.

Anti-social behaviour is defined as ‘behaviour by a person which causes, or is likely to cause, harassment, alarm or distress to persons not of the same household as the person’.

If you’ve witnessed anti-social behaviour, please report it to the police.

Across Eastbourne, Lewes and Wealden, each Friday and Saturday, teams made up of both PCs and PCSOs take to the streets on additional patrols across areas reported by your communities as having seen an increase in ASB and youth related crime and disorder.

Between the times detailed below, residents can contact their local team directly to report any anti-social behaviour, including anti-social driving.

Eastbourne: 07785372050 between 1730-2230 each Friday and Saturday

Lewes: 07989188960 between 1600-2200 each Friday and Saturday

Wealden: 07770700642 between 15:00-2230 each Friday and Saturday

Anti-social behaviour (ASB) can have a lasting effect on local communities and often leads to more serious offences, such as theft and criminal damage – if you are experiencing issues of ASB in your towns or villages please report it to us at the time, all your reports help to plan these additional weekend patrols in areas which have been affected the most.

Outside of these times please report it via 101/online, or 999 in an emergency.
