Civic Centre Closed to the Public

As the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) continues, we wanted to reassure you that the wellbeing of our residents will be at the forefront of everything we do.  We will, of course, continue to adhere to Government advice, whilst remaining fully committed to providing an ongoing service to residents.

At the present time scheduled Council meetings will take place.  However, we are reviewing and monitoring developments continuously, and our approach will inevitably continue to evolve.

We will do our upmost to continue to deliver the high levels of service you rightly expect.

We will ensure that our staff have up to date information covering travel, hygiene, attendance at meetings and interaction with residents to minimise risks to all.
However, it is with regret that we have made the difficult decision to close the Civic Centre to the public for the foreseeable future.

The bingo evening planned for 27^th March has been cancelled.   All planned events will be put on hold until further notice.    We understand this may be disappointing for some people, but we are thinking of our residents during this period of uncertainty.
