Roadworks on South Coast Road from 8pm Wednesday 16th April until 4am Friday 18th April

We have been advised that drainage investigations on South Coast Road to help alleviate flooding will be carried out from Wednesday 16 April to Friday 18 April 2025 between 8pm and 4am.

These works involve CCTV surveys of the underground drainage system. They will also be using high pressured water to clear the pipework.

The team will be working Eastbound to High View Road and the road will remain open with temporary traffic lights in place for the duration of the works.

All of these works are subject to favourable weather conditions, for example heavy rain may affect the progress of the works.

Properties close to the carriageway may notice some noise, flashing lights, or reversing sirens. They will do their utmost to keep this to a minimum.
