Take A Minute To Reflect

The Mayor of Telscombe, Cllr Isobel Sharkey, would like to encourage residents of Telscombe to join her in marking a minute’s silence on Tuesday 23^rd March at 12 noon, when those who have died in the pandemic will be remembered.

Marie Curie are organising a National Day of Reflection to mark the anniversary of the UK’s first Covid lockdown.  There will be an online event, starting at 11:35am, with a minute’s silence at 12 noon.

People are also encouraged to light up their doorsteps at 8pm that night and prominent buildings and landmarks will also be illuminated across the UK
