Call the Sussex Mental Healthline on 0800 0309 500. They offer crisis care 24 hours a day, seven days a week to anyone in Sussex needing urgent mental health support

Call the Samaritans helpline on 116 123 if you are feeling desperate or despairing

Street Link to get help for anyone sleeping rough – connects that person to local services for support. Call 0300 500 0914

Shelter helpline on 0808 800 4444 for housing & homelessness advice. Open 8am-8pm on weekdays and 8am-5pm on weekends, 365 days a year

The National Domestic Violence Helpline – for women experiencing domestic violence, or their friends and families. A translation service is available. Call 0808 2000 247. Open 24 hours a day, every day of the year

Mankind for male victims of domestic abuse. Call 01823 334244 12pm-2.30pm and 7pm-9pm every day of the year

Cruse – bereavement counselling and support for both children and adults by telephone. Call 0808 808 1677

NHS 111 provides general information about health and medical problems. Please ring 111. Their helpline is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year
