Local Government Re-organisation Announcement Made

The Government has today announced that, as part of the Local Government Re-organisation, Telscombe, East Saltdean and Peacehaven will become part of the new Brighton & Hove City Council authority. Falmer will remain within the East Sussex authority area.

Cllr Andy Woolley, Leader of East Sussex County Council, has said the council will be asking ministers to urgently reconsider this decision.
