Cllr Judd has donated all of his Mayor's allowance of £1,500 to Kempton House Day Centre. He has also made a payment from his Mayor's fundraising of £3,000 to Boomerang Kids. He will make final donations from his Mayor's fund at the end of April 2023, just before the end of his term as Mayor.
Cllr Judd was Mayor for the year 2021/22 and was appointed again as Mayor for 2022/23. He therefore decided not to make any payments from his 2021/22 year fundraising and to carry it forward to the next financial year. He did, however, donate most of his Mayor's allowance as follows:- CTLA £1,000 and Seahaven Food Bank £271.
The Mayor of Telscombe for 2020/21, Cllr Isobel Sharkey, could not undertake any fundraising during her term of office due to Covid lockdown and restrictions. She did, however, donate £1,423 from her Mayor's allowance equally between both Kempton House Day Centre and the Lewes Citizens Advice.
The Mayor of Telscombe for 2019/20, Cllr Isobel Sharkey, raised £2,695 which was split equally between her nominated charities:- Autism, Sussex; City Cat Shelter; The House Project and Project Artworks. She also donated £1,000 from her Mayor's allowance to the Seahaven Food Bank.
The Mayor of Telscombe for 2018/19, Cllr Daryll Brindley, raised the following for his nominated charities:- The Rotary Club £1,834.00, The Deans Senior Tea Club £1,834.00 and The Royal Sussex County Hospital Maternity Bereavement Suite £1,000.00.
The Mayor of Telscombe for 2017/18, Cllr Joanna Wilkins, raised £4,450 which was shared equally between her nominated charities:- Raystede, WRAS (Wildlife Rescue Ambulance Service), Sussex Horse Rescue, Cat Welfare Sussex and Seaford Downs Syndrome & Special Needs Support Group.
