The Telscombe Civic Centre is a flexible venue to suit all needs and a diverse range of events such as parties, wedding receptions, craft fairs, exhibitions/demonstrations, exercise classes, seminars, training events, business meetings and funeral teas. The competitive hire charges are listed below.
The prestigious modern bright building situated within close proximity of the cliff top has a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and range cooker, ideal for use by caterers or simply making tea and coffee for business meetings or training events.
During the week rooms are available to hire on an individual hourly basis as shown in the table below. At weekends there is a session rate only for use of the ground floor (Council Chamber, Exhibition area and kitchen), again as shown in the table below. There are doors on the ground floor accessing a small private patio area. The ground floor has two areas that can be opened up to give a larger space and smaller rooms are available upstairs.
The building is conveniently situated on the A259 South Coast Road on the route of the Brighton & Hove number 12 bus service. The Centre has its own small private cark park (12 spaces, plus an additional disabled space).
The building, which has the benefit of a hearing loop in the Council Chamber, is fully accessible with a lift, disabled toilet and external access ramp. (In line with current legislation, the Telscombe Civic Centre, patio area and car park are ‘no smoking’ areas.)
