Universal Credit Advice Service

The Universal Credit Advice Service which has been funded for a further 3 months.

This is a free confidential service for anyone living in the Lewes District Council area.  The project focuses on helping people who are at risk of homelessness because of a low income or rent arrears.  The service provides advice regarding Universal Credit and all other welfare benefits, schemes and grants.

They can:

• assist people to claim Universal Credit
• help them with Universal Credit issues
• check on benefit entitlement and amounts
• assist people and households to maximising their incomes
• assist them to apply for benefits

It is a joint project provided by Brighton Housing Trust and Lewes District Council.
